Purchasing & Shipping policies

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering


How is my payment handled?


We accept payments through Wix Payments which cover all main credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Paypal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to these providers, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the policy for the payment process you prefer to use for more details.  You can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card without being a PayPal account holder. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Purchasing with a deposit


If you would like to purchase an original painting over 500 euros you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting . The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each.  After the final payment has been made, the item can be shipped.  Please contact me if you are interested in this arrangement.  There are no fees for this service and usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.

Paying by bank transfer or BIZUM


Although there isn´t an option to pay by bank transfer at the checkout, it is possible to do this or via BIZUM which many EU customers prefer. This also saves on transaction fees.  If you want to pay via either of these options, please contact me detailing the item you wish to purchase.  Subject to its continued availability, I will email an invoice with details of how to pay and reserve the item for you. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others.

Shipping

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

Is Shipping included?


Shipping is a shared cost. Most artwork has an estimated shipping cost to you for your share included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.  I personally contribute towards shipping and so the cost to you is a percentage of the overall shipping cost.


Note:  If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and if we cannot reach an agreement, to refuse the sale.

What about large or high value artworks?


I appreciate this may be a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have have spent many hours creating! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually. This specific information is included in the listing details so please read them carefully and contact me before making a purchase.

 

I will reply via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.

Can you ship internationally?


Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the EU) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

What impact does BREXIT have on me as a UK buyer?


There are additional fees for UK buyers when purchasing outside of the UK.  This is hard to estimate however, it will be a minimum of the current VAT rate which currently (2024) is 21%.  There may be additional handling and customs fees.  The fees are charged on the painting price, not including other costs such as shipping.  If you love something here but are unsure whether you are willing to order without knowing clear costs, please contact me to discuss. Nobody likes hidden costs.


I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?


Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within the EU pieces are sent by Correos España, UPS/MRW or specialist courier depending on size and weight.  Most EU deliveries arrive within 7 to 10 days from time of shipping. Please allow 12 working days in total.

 

For international or UK deliveries, these timescales can be longer due to customs clearance etc.  Please contact me before purchasing for a better estimate based on your exact location and the size/weight of your order. 

 

If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my print?


All prints are made to order and dispatched within 5 working days.  All are sent standard post via Correos España.  In Spain, they are received within 5-7 working days of posting.  Allow 10-12 working days for EU countries and 12-15 working days for all other countries including the US.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?


Yes, if you live locally in the Cadiz Province of Andalusia or within reasonable travelling distance, this is possible.  Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is in San Jose de Malcocinado, near Benalup Casas Viejas.

Returns policy

What if my original painting arrives and I don’t like it?


I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement for buyers in Spain.

If an original painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days.

 

What if my painting or print arrives damaged?


All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.

What about Overseas Returns?


At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the Spain.
