Original mixed media painting created in 2023 using quality acrylic paint. Measuring 116 x 89cm on cradled wood panel (3.5cm deep), it adds a sense of calm to a room and a window into far reaching views. Full of texture and interest, it is a lovely painting to lose time with.
I love to capture special moments and memories. We walk our dogs every morning across a dam which is very close to our home. It offers wonderful views across the Andalusian countryside and this particular morning, I remember seeing the first sun touching the wonderful fields of sunflowers in the distance beyond the neat rows of olive. Painting from memory helps me to capture the feeling within the textured layers rather than get all hung up on the accuracy of the actual view.

SHIPPING: International delivery varies. The shipping amount shown at checkout covers some of the cost – I’ll cover the rest! There are some art shipping specialists who can ship art in crates which you may wish to consider for larger or more delicate pieces - if you would like this bespoke service please contact me before purchasing an item as this could increase the cost. If standard shipping costs are substantially higher than the amount shown at checkout I will contact you and there may be an additional amount to pay which can be invoiced separately.
