Well this character came from nowhere. They have a wonderful presence and appear to be taking a little break either before or after the show. That´s for you to decide. Deep in thought and almost a little bit edgy. The addition of collage gives greater depth, interest and texture and yet they eyes are clearly fixed on you! This painting would be a fun addition to a home for entertaining. Imaging going to use the guest closet and finding this fabulous character staring back at you. I think it would also look great in an foyer. Medium sized, it would make a nice statement in a more intimate space.
This is in my personal style mixing abstract marks with recognisable elements to draw the eye in. Acrylic and hand made collage on quality canvas.
