The edges are finished in a mate black paint and so there is no need for framing. It is a large painting which can be shipped worldwide. However, it is safer to ship dismantled and would need to be taken to a professional framer to be restretched back onto the frame which would also be shipped. Please contact me for details.
This is a very special painting. Although, most of my paintings begin without any specific subject in mind (excluding portraits), this one took the form of a couple lost in the moment during a dance. It comes from a memory from a very long time ago when I had my first dance with my now husband. It was magical and unforgettable. He was charming and romantic. I was a little shy but beyond excited. I didn´t want the dance to end. We all remember our first dance and I hope that whoever connects with and decides to buy this large painting, feels that flutter of excitement of love eveery time that they look at it.
The warm, deeper tones create intimacy whilst the textures and colours in particular in their clothing represent the excitement and hope of the possibilities of a happy future together.
