Moody abstract landscape using layers of acrylic paint, glazes and texture on cradled wood panel measuring 60 x 60cm (2cm deep) - completed in 2023
This landscape painting captures the wonderful moment the light changes as a storm passes by. Everything is refreshed and the light always seems clearer and so bright once the clouds move on. I love the hint of blue sky reflected in the puddles offering hope of better things to come. The texture and movement almost replicate the tail end of the chaos whilst the pop of yellow on the hill and soft edges ooze calm and tranquility.
After the storm - 60 x 60cm (24 x 24 inch)
